about

my story

My journey into commercial diving started after seven years of service in the U.S. Army. When I transitioned out of the military, I knew I wanted to pursue a career built around something I genuinely enjoyed, and diving had always been a passion of mine. That led me to commercial dive school, where I turned that passion into a profession.

After graduating, I began working in Maryland on underwater bridge construction projects. The work was demanding and taught me the importance of discipline, safety, precision, and being able to get the job done right, even in challenging conditions.

I eventually moved to Florida to be closer to my daughter and continued working in the marine industry. I began performing underwater boat cleaning and maintenance for several companies, and I quickly realized how much I enjoyed the work. There’s something incredibly rewarding about being able to see the difference your work makes firsthand and knowing that you left someone’s boat better than you found it.

After gaining experience and building a genuine passion for the work, I decided it was time to build something of my own.

That’s how Kraken Marine Services was born.

I started this company with a simple goal to provide dependable, professional underwater services while taking genuine pride in every job I put my name on. Whether it’s routine hull cleaning, replacing zincs, cleaning pilings, recovering something from the bottom, or tackling a job that requires getting below the surface, I treat every dive with the same level of care and attention to detail.

For me, this isn’t just a business. It’s a career I chose because I love the water, I enjoy the work, and I take pride in doing the job right.

Your boat deserves more than just a cleaning. It deserves someone who cares about the work.
